This is the Part II Option for all members of VSAI who didn’t get selected for the Connect Lead Succeed ‘Book 1’ in what is now intended to be a series.  We’re charging forward and creating a follow up book that will launch in December 2025 specifically targeting Leadership and AI topics.

And YOU’RE INVITED to be part of it.

In 2025 VSAI and Indie Experts are working together to help ensure that 15 authors contribute to a business book that will reach your audiences, event planners, and potential clients.

 

  This Book is a FEE Based Option. 

Working Title & Subtitle

Leadership and AI for Thriving in the Digital Age’

This book will be targeting leaders, managers and AI focused industry specialists.  It will feature expert speakers in Leadership and AI, who are members of the VSAI.

This book will be a high quality, professionally curated, edited and designed book that will be well received, and useful to you for marketing purposes. It’s also going to help showcase VSAI as having outstanding members who speak on a range of topics.

 IF you already submitted an application for the first book, either update and resubmit or you can alternatively let us know to reconsider that original application. 

Here’s what you need to know:

There are only 15 available chapters

There are ONLY TWO sections:

Leadership

AI

Each chapter will be 2000 – 2500 words! And you will be guided to write your  content with a master publishing coach. 

This book will be targeting business readers.

There is a small investment to be part of this project – of $795.00 USD

However, not everyone who applies will be selected.

Your name will be on the cover.

At this stage we are only considering an English Language version.

You will be able to purchase printed copies at a wholesale rate, to resell, gift, or use for marketing purposes.

TIMELINES:

In order to meet a desired publishing schedule of December 2025, please consider before applying if you would be able to meet the required writing deadline.

  • 20 April: Applications close

First meeting with the publishers to discuss your topic must be in April.

  • 30 May First draft of your chapters due
  • 30 June: Chapters returned to you in final draft format
  • 30 July: Editing complete
  • 15 September: Design, typesetting complete
  • 10 October: – files ready to be signed off. Marketing plan completed.
  • 30 November: – ready to launch via Amazon, Ingram Spark, Draft2Digital, VSAI website.

  • 3 Coaching sessions with Dixie to curate your chapter, further develop ways to use your content, and market yourself as presenter in alignment with your content. Valued at $750.00
  • 6 months access to the Online Indie Experts Authors Resources Valued at $500.00
  • A PDF and EPub version of your chapter as an ebook option with your own cover, featuring only your name and chapter title, as part of the book. So you can use that as a lead magnet. Valued at $1200.00

How to Be Selected for the VSAI Book Project

Are you a VSAI member with valuable insights to share? Do you want to establish yourself as a an authority in the professional speaking industry?

Selection Criteria

To ensure the highest quality and impact, contributors will be selected based on:

✅ Professional Expertise – You should be an experienced speaker with knowledge that can truly benefit your a business oriented target market.

✅ Unique Insights – We are looking for fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and actionable strategies that will resonate with readers worldwide.

✅ Commitment to Quality – Your content should be well-structured, engaging, and aligned with the high standards of professional publishing.

✅ Alignment with the Book’s Theme – Contributions should fit within the key themes of leadership, marketing, AI, social media, networking, or team development in the speaking industry.

✅ Willingness to Promote – Selected authors should be willing to actively promote the book within their networks and speaking engagements.

You may already have a published book or books, but this is also well suited to new authors. You  will be assisted with the development of your content by Dixie Carlton, veteran publisher of 300+ Books since 2006.

How to Apply

  1. Submit an Application – Express your interest by completing the official application form. Include a brief summary of your proposed topic and how it will benefit the readers. 200 words Maximum
  2. Provide a Writing Sample – Showcase your expertise with a short article, blog post, or book excerpt that reflects your writing style.
  3. Review & Selection – A panel of industry experts from Indie Experts Publishing and VSAI will review submissions and select the most impactful contributions.
  4. Final Approval & Writing Guidelines – Selected authors will receive detailed writing guidelines, editorial support, and publishing timelines.

Please also note:

If you are part of this project, you will be personally coached to develop your chapter to the highest quality, so that your content really works had to profile you as a speaker, with a call to action on your website (via the link at the end of your chapter).  You will also have an ebook version of your chapter you can use, with a cover aligned with the main version of the book, and you can also have printed copies of the entire book to share if you wish.

We expect this book to sell well from the start and to be ranked as a top performing book on Amazon.  This helps you to position yourself as a co-author of a best selling book.
